In-Situ integrity verification

cimg5974The MPM meter has in-built a Integrity Verification system to allow the user to verify the performance of the meter. It covers all parts of the meter, software as well as hardware and even the configuration data entered by the user.

The system and the associated reports can be used to document the meter´s performance towards 3´rd parties, and should there ever be a problem with the meter, the system will help identify the problem and diagnose the cause of it.

With MPM´s unique In-Situ integrity verification tools, we are capable to verify the performance of the meters in the field, with no physical presence at site, nor any assistance from the Operator of the field. The In-Situ verification is based on all the redundant measurements of the meter; using it's extra equatiions and statistics to verify that the measured values are correct.

The In-Situ integrity verification consists of two parts:
  1. Verification that the meter hardware and software are working properly
  2. Verification of the configuration data, and suggested corrections in input PVT properties.
The verification tools are available in different versions that cover different levels of the meter operation and configuration. Parts of them are available for the normal user in the standard Graphical User Interface (GUI), whereas others are based on a link to the MPM Operations centre, and the evaluation by MPM metering engineers. From this center, MPM offers a set of value-added services based on analysis of measurements and meter performance. As a result of the verification services, the operating company will receive a written report. The report can be used to verify towards partners and authorities that the meter performs as per specifications and requirements.
