The MPM meter combines the input from a Venturi, a gamma detector, pressure and temperature transmitters and an EM (electromagnetic waves) based system for dielectric measurements to form a multi-modal tomographic system. 

The meter is installed down-stream of a blind-T, in a vertical position with flow either up- or downwards. The flow first passes first through the Venturi, then enters into the EM / 3D Broadband section.

The high-end electronics enable hundreds of real time measurements per second, providing operators with details of the most minute flow event.
